Determining Project Scope & Client Vision

Our first meeting will be discussing what it is you exactly want to do and how we can best help you get there! Whether it be a full service new build, remodeling a certain section of your home, or just doing a furniture refresh we have ideas for you! We'll create look books to make sure we're visually on the same page. We also welcome any images you love and we can work off of ideas you've had or seen. We'll work together to get the big picture and overall direction of your home.

We can help you with your floor plan and architectural drawings so we have documents to communicate to builders with. We'll help develop window placements, door placements, electrical locations, plumbing placements and more! We collaborate with a variety of architects for a new build, or can help rework your interiors if it's a remodel. We want to make sure there's great flow and ease as you move about your home.

This step will include elevations, detailed drawings of custom fireplaces, built-ins and more. We'll create lists of exactly what will be in your home and help you get it all ordered. Lighting, plumbing fixtures, appliances, tile, flooring selections, cabinetry and more. We collaborate with your builder or help refer you to contractors and subcontractors we know and trust. We'll review the work being done and help catch any mistakes before it'll be a big pain to change them.

In tandem with the construction lists, we want to make sure all the materials and furniture in your home will go together. We put together mood boards with selections so you can visuals the big pieces all in one place. We provide samples of materials so you can see and feel to better get a sense of how everything will work together. 

We'll draw out layouts and concepts of custom furniture like banquettes, dining tables, benches, and more to collaborate with local furniture artisans. These handmade pieces not only add so much character to your home, but they are made especially with you in mind.

Where do you want the tile to start? How will you mount your mirrors? What will the transitions be? And have you picked all your grout colors? These are just a few questions you'd be asked by the person laying your tile. We'll manage all of this and create drawings so they know exactly what you want!

Not everyone is meant to just be able to visualize from talking or seeing a few concepts. We know that's our job, but don't expect it to be yours. Once we have a good idea of what you'd like, we can provide photo-realistic mock ups of your space so you can see if it's what you had in mind before it goes in that way. 

We're really good at all the other tasks, but this is where we thrive. Nothing makes a home more bespoke and unique to you than coordinating all your favorite fabrics, materials, and textures in one place. People will ask, where did you get that? The response is it's a truly one-of-a-kind, just like you. We'll help make pillows, bedding, and drapery all fit just for your home.

There's so much great art in the world it can be difficult to choose what will go best with all your other selections. Let us help procure and hang your art for you. We can also help place and incorporate pieces you already have and love from your personal collection. Accessories are the final touches to complete your cohesive home. We'll take care of the ordering and removing all those pesky stickers.
